• Aliaa has over 25 years of consulting experience, working with local and international organizations carrying out assignments and projects which involved private sector and SME finance and development, strategy development and assessment, training and capacity building, evaluation and assessment of efficiency and effectiveness of projects and conducting market research. She has also extensive experience in the design, development and delivery of training courses, seminars and workshops for various institutions in the MENA region including, the Ministry of Finance (GAFI), the Egyptian Banking Institute (training arm of the Central Bank of Egypt), the Egyptian Institute for Directors, Jordanian Institute of Directors, the International Financial Corporation (IFC), and the Nile University.
  • Aliaa has experience in working with public and private Institutions as well as governmental institutions including the World Bank, the African Development Bank, KfW, EIB, EBRD and the Dutch Government and the Egyptian Government (Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Agriculture) and Social Fund for Development as well as several privately own companies within the MENA region.
  • She also cooperates with the IFC in conducting Corporate Governance Assessment for private sector Enterprises identifying the different CG improvements required, design of tailored action plans for implementation recommendation and supervision of implementation, also in the delivery of training courses and workshops of Corporate Governance to SMEs in the MENA region.
  • Aliaa is a certified trainer with the Egyptian Banking Institute (the training arm of the Central Bank of Egypt). She designs and delivers courses and workshops in Arabic and English covering SME finance, product development, as well as awareness raising to target group for access to bank finance.
  • She is a founding member and Ex. Vice President of the Middle East Council for Entrepreneurship & Small Business as well as the first ex-vice president of the Egyptian Junior Business Association (EJB) until 2013.
